I am thrilled to share some exciting updates on my journey of service and dedication to our community. Currently, I have the honor of serving as an elected Regent for the Nevada System of Higher Education. While this role has been incredibly rewarding, I have decided to take on a new challenge by running for State Senate District 4.
I believe that stepping into this broader capacity will allow me to better focus my efforts and continue to serve our community effectively. Throughout my tenure as Regent, I have been fortunate to travel extensively across our great state, engaging with diverse communities and gaining valuable insights into the needs and aspirations of our citizens.
My commitment to community service runs deep. I have been actively involved in various capacities over the years. From being a Planning Commissioner for City of North Las Vegas to holding leadership positions in organizations like the Friends of NLV Library District, Coalition of Black Trade Unionist, and the Frontier Girl Scout Council. I have dedicated myself to making a positive impact.
Additionally, my involvement in numerous Parent Advisory boards in both public and private K-12 schools reflects my dedication to ensuring the best educational opportunities for our children. Currently, I am honored to be a member of several esteemed organizations, including the Protectors of Tule Springs, Springs Preserve Advisory Board, Cooperative Extension Advisory Board, and Nevada Organ Donors Diversity Outreach, among others.
As I embark on this new chapter in my journey, I am humbled by the support and encouragement of individuals like you. Your continued support will be invaluable as I strive to represent our community with integrity, compassion, honesty, and dedication in the State Senate.
Thank you.
